The Guide Behind FitCASA
Hi, I’m Karrie.
For over 30 years, I’ve studied the human body — how it moves, how it adapts, and what truly supports long-term strength and vitality.
My work centers on strength development because I believe strength is the foundation of resilient health. When built intelligently, it supports metabolic function, joint integrity, confidence, and longevity.
As an Integrative Wellness Guide, I look beyond the workout itself. I help you understand the bigger picture — recovery, stress load, nutrition, daily habits — using clear, evidence-informed principles that cut through the noise and quick fixes flooding the industry.
My approach is structured, progressive, and personal.
The goal isn’t intensity for the sake of intensity.
It’s building strength that lasts — physically, mentally, and metabolically.
At FitCASA, you won’t be pushed.
You’ll be guided — with clarity, precision, and intention.

Your FitCASA Experience
-
Your first visit to FitCasa is a 45-minute private experience designed to introduce you to the space, the energy, and my approach to strength.
You’ll tour the private studio in Highland Park and get a feel for how this environment supports focused, intentional progress.
From there, we move into a structured strength assessment. I’ll evaluate your current movement patterns, stability, coordination, and foundational strength so we can clearly understand where you are — and where you’re ready to grow.
This session also gives us time to talk through your goals, your history, and what lasting strength means to you.
It’s not a workout.
It’s a starting point. If we’re aligned, we’ll map out your next steps together.
-
Each session is tailored to your current nervous system capacity, movement quality, and long-term goals.
We build strength progressively — earning intensity rather than forcing it. Mobility, stability, coordination, and foundational power are developed in a way that respects your body’s readiness. Nothing rushed. Nothing performative.
This is not random programming.
It is structured refinement. You’ll receive thoughtful progression, technical coaching, and ongoing support through my coaching app — so your work inside the studio translates into real, lasting results.
Strength built intelligently becomes strength that stays.
-
Strength doesn’t exist in isolation.
Together we address the foundational pillars that influence performance and longevity — nutrition, recovery, stress, sleep, and daily habits.
The DE STRESS Protocol™ (Diet, Exercise, Stress, Toxins, Rest, Emotions, Supplements, Success mindset) provides structure without overwhelm.
This is not rigid meal plans or extreme protocols.
It’s intelligent guidance designed to support metabolic health, resilience, and sustainable progress. -
For clients who travel or live outside Los Angeles, I offer structured virtual coaching with the same level of precision and accountability.
You’ll receive customized programming, movement review, and ongoing guidance through my coaching platform — along with scheduled virtual sessions when needed.
Distance does not dilute the work.
The same intentional progression.
The same refinement.
The same results-driven approach.
Inside FitCASA
-

A Private Strength Studio
Tucked into Northeast Los Angeles, FitCasa is a private strength studio designed for focused, intentional work.
This isn’t a crowded gym.
It’s a quiet, dedicated environment where your time, your goals, and your progression come first. -

Strength Without Noise
The moment you step inside, the pace shifts.
This is time set aside to focus — to move with intention, regulate your nervous system, and build strength without distraction.
Focused. Grounded. Clear.
-

Every Session Begins with Assessment
Before we build intensity, we assess movement quality, stability, coordination, and foundational strength. This ensures your program is aligned with your current capacity — not assumptions.
Assessment is not optional.
It’s how intelligent strength is built.
Strength Beyond Aesthetics
Most people begin strength training because they want to look different.
That’s human.
But appearance alone is a fragile driver. It often leads to extremes, burnout, or chasing an ever-shifting standard of “enough.”
At FitCasa, we focus first on building real capacity — stability, bone density, metabolic health, joint integrity, and nervous system resilience.
When the body adapts intelligently, aesthetics tends to follow.
Stronger muscles reshape the frame.
Improved metabolic function shifts body composition.
Consistency changes how you carry yourself.
We don’t ignore appearance.
We just don’t let it lead.
Capacity first.
Aesthetics as a byproduct.
The FitCASA Philosophy
First, Do No Harm
Strength should build resilience — not deplete it.
My work is guided by the principle of minimizing unnecessary stress while strengthening the body’s natural capacity to adapt. Every progression is earned. Every increase in intensity is intentional.
We build capacity.
We don’t chase exhaustion.
Education Over Hype
You deserve clear, evidence-informed guidance —
not trends.
I teach the principles behind what we do: strength development, recovery, stress management, nutrition, and daily habits that influence long-term performance.
When you understand the why, you move differently.
You train with intention — not noise.
Strength With Discernment
The fitness industry often rewards excess — more intensity, more volume, more output.
I don’t subscribe to that model.
Exercise is essential for vitality and longevity, but when misapplied, it becomes another stressor layered onto an already full life.
My role isn’t to push you endlessly.
It’s to discern when to progress and when to restore.
There will be times we challenge capacity.
There will be times we reduce load to support recovery.
Both are strategic.
This balanced approach builds strength that lasts, restores energy rather than draining it, and supports a long, resilient health span.
Fitness isn’t about burnout.
It’s about sustainable expansion.
Address the Entire Person
Your goals, your history, and your capacity all matter.
No two bodies adapt the same way. I take the time to understand your starting point and design progression accordingly — respecting both your physiology and your life outside the studio.
Strength must fit your life.
Not compete with it.
